We are proud to announce that our co-founder, Zenith Shah, has been selected in this year's AC Weekly Top 40 Under 40. Each year, the community is asked to nominate locals who embody a community spirit, giving back beyond their careers. This recognition is extra special for Hayday - while we are building a coffee shop with a focus on community, Zenith is acknowledged for his personal commitment to bettering and supporting Atlantic City.
A 2007 graduate of Drexel University, Shah began his professional career at Blackrock, the world’s largest asset management firm. After more than a decade in leadership positions growing the Portfolio Compliance Group across the country and the globe, he decided the time was right to return home and build a business and community in Atlantic City. In 2016, Shah co-founded Authentic City Partners to create development projects in Atlantic City committed to bettering the lives of those in the community. ACP’s first project, the Tennessee Avenue Renaissance, will bring small businesses back to the beach block of Tennessee Avenue. Last year, Shah and two of his oldest friends co-founded Hayday, a community-centered coffee shop that will become the cornerstone of the Tennessee Avenue project.
